This article is about how the House of Representatives are opposing the funding towards Planned Parenthood because that money could be used for "more important" things. "Our position is, we're not going to vote for something that allows money to continue to go to Planned Parenthood," Representative Jim Jordan said. These representatives are trying to get as many votes possible to support their theory.I personally feel that Planned Parenthood shouldn't be shut down due to funding. There are many women in need of planned parenthood, so shutting it down wouldn't benefit anyone other than the government. I don't any reason as to why they feel the need to shut it down, if their having good funding throughout the government. They're really just trying to make excuses so they wouldn't have to pay extra for something that the Republicans don't feel the need to pay. The purpose of our government is to help and serve the people, and by shutting down planned parenthood, they wouldn't be helping us, women, at all.
